Cardboard Hands
This is a fun activity that combines art with imaginative play. It can especially be fun for children that are interested in nail polish, but not old enough to apply it themselves.
First, you need some cardboard, art materials and scissors. On the cardboard, you need to trace your child's hands and then cut out the tracings. You can also trace your own, or have them trace yours.
After the hands are cut out, draw nails at the tips of the fingers. Crayons, markers, paint or nail polish can be used to colour the nails. You can decorate the wrist area by drawing on bracelets and jewelry, and add fancy rings to the fingers. For older children, you can pretend to be at a fancy spa while doing it.
Just relax and have fun!
