Popsicle Stick Picture Frame

Popsicle sticks are one of those things that can be used to make hundreds of different creative and useful things. One of my favorite creative things is the popsicle sticks picture frame. It is cute Mother’s Day gift you can make it for your mother or grandmother.

To make your own Popsicle stick frame, you will need:

• Popsicle sticks

• Paint or markers if you want to colour plain sticks

• Glue (clear, colorful, glitter)

• Decorations (jewels, beads, puzzle, buttons, seashell, glitter gravel, small rocks, etc.) As you can see the photo, a lot of these decorations can be purchased at Dollarama

• Picture

• Ribbon

How to Make Your Popsicle Stick Picture Frame

Step 1. First, make the frame. Form a square with 4 popsicle sticks. Secure the corners with a dot of glue. Allow the glue to dry. I used a hot glue gun to glue them together. It is faster than using a regular glue. But do not worry if you don’t have the hot glue gun. The regular glue would work too but takes a little bit longer time to dry.

Step 2. Once the glue is dry, if you want, you can paint the frame with your favorite color paint or markers. I did not paint because I covered all popsicle sticks frames with decorations.

Step 3. Wait for the paint to dry if you used it. Now, it is time to decorate the frames with items of your choice. I used glitter glue, seashell, and glitter gravel for decorations my picture frames. After that, I left them out to thoroughly dry overnight.

Step 4. Find a picture that you want to use. You might need to cut the picture to fit the frame. Use glue or tape to attach the picture to the back of the frame and then glue a ribbon onto the back to allow the frame to be hung.
